It’s been a year since American patriots Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were murdered at Benghazi, Libya. Their families are still waiting for answers. The Obama Administration continues to stonewall investigators. Sadly, the House Rules Committtee continues to stonewall and bottle up the bill (HR 36) to establish a Select Committee to investigate. (More info here.)
The Rules Committee is preventing a floor vote–or even a floor debate–on the bill.
A group of Republicans, including three bold Texans, are speaking out on the urgent need for a Select Committee on Benghazi:
Cruz, Gohmert and Stockman are not alone:
The members of the House Rules Committee apparently believe that a Benghazi Select Committee is not worthwhile, but millions of Americans, over 1,000 special forces veterans and nearly three-fourths of House Republicans disagree.
Enough with the excuses.
Enough with the stonewalling.
It’s time for a Select Committee on Benghazi.
